AUCKLAND is inspired by the classical fluted architecture of ancient columns, reinterpreted for the modern living room and the contemporary terrace. The vertical fluting recalls fluted stone columns of the kind found on Mediterranean buildings – a detail that has stood for elegance and architectural precision for centuries. Rethought in cream-white GFRC concrete, this classical element becomes a contemporary, sculptural piece of furniture: reduced, yet with a tangible depth. Every groove catches the light in its own way and turns a simple cylindrical body into an object of quiet sophistication.
